Zhongliao is the second-to-last township in Nantou County with the smallest population. Not only is the population seriously aging, but the local industry has also declined greatly due to inconvenient transportation. Jiayi Tian, the owner of Junshuo Farm, left his hometown to join the military at a young age. He felt deeply about the industrial problems in his hometown. At the end of 2019, he returned to Zhongliao and took over the longan orchard that his family had run for a hundred years. He used his expertise in mechanical design and project management skills to develop an AIOT smart baking monitoring system and improved baking equipment, introducing smart technology into local agriculture, significantly reducing the demand for manpower input by 73.6%, and establishing a complete production and marketing history mechanism on the production side, effectively solving problems such as labor shortages and imbalances in production and marketing in rural areas, and using friendly farming methods to preserve the most authentic and happiest taste, creating a low-carbon, resilient and sustainable rural area. Every longan produced hides the three intentions of Junshuo Farm (the original intention of the land, the care of the fruit, the peace of mind in eating, the willingness to eat, and the sincerity).
