On October 17, 2025, I took students from #CaotunVocationalHighSchool to explore the career map of Nantou. Our journey took us from #JiyuanFruit in Jiji to the #HerbalBiotechnologyPark, transforming the concept of "local industry" into a tangible and interactive learning experience.
At Jiyuan Fruit, children saw over a hundred different varieties of bananas up close for the first time. From the outdoor ecological identification area, they strolled through the rich educational exhibits and interactive displays inside, learning that Jiji Mountain bananas were once a tribute to the Japanese Emperor. This history not only amazed everyone but also helped them understand how a banana can embody local culture, climate, and technology. The final food and agriculture education experience brought knowledge to the table—making banana cakes themselves, instantly imbuing the memories with aroma and warmth. 🧁📚
At the Herbal Biotechnology Park, we started with a single *Cinnamomum camphora* plant and witnessed how it grows into an entire "Herbal Biotechnology" industrial chain: the refreshing herbal scent is seamlessly integrated into everyday products like soap, shampoo, and shower gel. "Using genuine, natural herbs to sincerely make good products"—this isn't just a slogan, but a craftsman's belief repeatedly validated by processes and time. 🌱 Behind the company's philosophy, brand culture, and product development, the students saw the complete path from land to market, from raw materials to brand, and understood why local industries can be remembered worldwide: because of authenticity, focus, and continuous iteration. ✨
