Hailing from Fenghuang Village in Lugu, Nantou, which is shrouded in mist all year round, Guanlin Chen grew up in a family with a tea industry history of more than 140 years. Although his family never forced him to inherit the family business, the influence of tea culture was deeply rooted in his heart since he was a child, and he was determined to devote himself to the tea industry on this land.
In college, he majored in biology and studied management and trade. He used what he learned to focus on combining traditional tea making with modern technology to promote the modernization and scientificization of the tea industry, including a pesticide residue analysis system. He obtained international food safety certification and established a complete quality management system to ensure the excellent quality of every piece of tea. He also preserved and promoted tea culture to people of all ages through tea tours. This is not only a continuation of family heritage, but also a reflection of Guanlin’s love and mission for tea.
