Siguang Zhang and Enqi Guo, a couple full of silliness and enthusiasm, quit their jobs as chefs and returned to their hometown in 2002, with the dream of using roses in cooking without using pesticides, fertilizers or herbicides. However, they did not expect that edible roses are difficult to grow, so they could only fight insects with bare hands! The path of a foolish farmer!
In the hope of having the fragrance of roses all year round, the garden was named "Lohas Edible Rose Garden" and is located in Puli, Nantou, in the center of Taiwan. It adopts an environmentally friendly planting method, emphasizes natural sustainability, and ensures the health of the soil and ecosystem. After experiencing repeated setbacks, they almost re-learned from nature and adhered to their original intentions, so that they could harvest these edible rose petals with a special sweet smell.
The rose petals in the park have a strong fragrance and can be used to make various foods such as rose tea and rose jam. In recent years, it has won numerous international jam awards and has gradually gained the favor of famous chefs and restaurants.
The rose garden also offers experiential activities such as handmade rose products and on-site guided tours, allowing visitors to gain an in-depth understanding of the rose cultivation process and its diverse uses.
Rose Garden is dedicated to promoting rose culture and environmentally friendly concepts, allowing people to contribute to the health of the earth while enjoying delicious food.
