Peijyun He, a passionate professional, has transformed Chushan into a fertile ground for creativity. At the age of 19, he was deeply attracted by an abandoned century-old courtyard house in Zhushan. His regret for the disappearance of culture drove him to bravely borrow money to renovate it, which eventually made the "Sky Courtyard" B&B a hit. His creativity does not stop there. He also transformed the abandoned Chushan Taixi Station into a book gallery, restaurant and community space full of humanistic atmosphere. The meals are all made with local agricultural products, showcasing the unique flavor of Chushan.
The "Light Point Gathering" held at the revitalized old station invites residents to care about community issues every month. It also attracts talents from all over the world to come to Chushan to participate in various programs, allowing Chushan residents to communicate and grow together. In recent years, the practical energy accumulated in these places has been invited to go to mainland China, Malaysia, and Japan. From site activation, community building, digital technology to the establishment of an Asian collaborative support system, it has brought more infinite possibilities for the future of local creativity in Taiwan and Asia.
