On July 14, we successfully hosted the "Launching a Startup: Practical Insights on Brand Transformation by the New Generation of Female Entrepreneurs" seminar at the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Nantou County Government. We invited Lin Hsuan-ying—a second-generation leader at Ya-Fang International Food—to share her firsthand experience. She guided us through the journey of a traditional food brand, illustrating how the new generation takes the helm and innovates, ultimately making a legacy brand relevant to young people once again.

Drawing on her own experience in succession and brand transformation, Hsuan-ying shared practical insights covering everything from short-form video and social media marketing to creative content, prompting us to consider:

✨ How can traditional industries capture the attention of young people?

✨ Beyond merely continuing the legacy, what new possibilities can be created during succession?

✨ How can social media and short-form video be leveraged to revitalize brand visibility?

✨ How can one inject new vitality into a legacy brand in their own unique way?

The event featured both the seminar and a panel discussion, fostering lively interaction as participants explored key questions:

How can one strike a balance between tradition and innovation?

How can the new generation utilize their expertise to chart a new course for the family business?

How can aspiring entrepreneurs discover their own unique opportunities right here in Nantou?

The event also included a tea reception, allowing young entrepreneurs and attendees to network and share experiences. From brand management and succession-driven transformation to overall business development, the gathering sparked a wealth of new ideas and possibilities.
