🪂 Sky Youth Interns | Puli Dream Flight Project 🧑 Proposer: Shih Nai-hao

📑 Project: Local Industry Extension & Creative Innovation

"Take off from the sky, let dreams land — nurturing flying youth to illuminate mountain town tourism." This project centers on the promotion of paragliding education. Leveraging Puli's unique geographical advantages and tourism resources, we are creating Taiwan’s first integrated model for:

👉 High-Altitude Sports × Youth Cultivation × Mountain Town Tourism Currently, the number of active paragliding pilots in Taiwan is fewer than a hundred, with a high average age and a significant generational gap. To address this, we start from Nantou Puli—the only legal paragliding site in Central Taiwan. Through systematic experiences and internship-style learning, we guide teenagers to understand and engage with paragliding, cultivating a new generation of talent for the sport in Taiwan.

📌 Key Project Highlights: * Education & Internships: Designing paragliding camps and internship-based learning modules.

Aerial Guided Tours: Developing "Sky Narratives" that offer a unique perspective on local geography.

Tourism Integration: Connecting paragliding with Puli’s mountain town travel routes and tourism circuits.

Puli boasts nearly 40 years of paragliding history. The "Hu-Xiao Mountain" (Tiger Head Mountain) site is one of the few in Taiwan capable of on-site take-offs and landings, with professional facilities and high safety standards—making it an ideal base for youth training and advanced cultivation. Through cross-domain collaboration and youth participation, we aim to transform paragliding from a simple "thrill ride" into a deep travel experience that combines local culture with scenic storytelling.

🌄 Why Choose Puli? While paragliding has gradually become a significant international competitive sport, Taiwan still lacks in talent cultivation and youth involvement. Puli offers flyable weather year-round and rich cultural landscapes. By integrating local cultural commentary into the flight experience—allowing participants to rediscover the mountain town from an aerial perspective—we can create a distinctive new model for aviation tourism.

Through youth cultivation and experience design, this project aspires to: 🪂 Inject new generational energy into Taiwan’s paragliding scene.

🪂 Build a signature "Aerial Tourism" brand exclusive to Puli.

Let Puli be more than just a "short flight"—let it soar high and continue to take off.
