Nantou County Youth Development Office
The Nantou County Youth Development Office, abbreviated as NYDO, is an organization established by the Nantou County Government to expand its services for young people. The aim is to create a supportive platform for dialogue with the youth, attracting more young talent to establish roots in Nantou. The Youth Development Office is structured into two departments: the "Public Participation Division" and the "Career Development Division".
Service Introduction
Starting January 1, 2024, the Nantou County Government has established the Nantou County Youth Development Office as a dedicated youth affairs service center. This office focuses on the development of youth affairs, youth entrepreneurship, youth employment, and youth public participation within the county. The aim is to integrate resources related to plans that encourage young people to stay in their hometown, support them at various stages of their careers, help them clarify their future career paths, and assist more young people in establishing roots and developing in Nantou. Director

The Nantou County Youth Development Office appoints one Director, who, under the mandate of the County Mayor and the supervision of the Director of the Nantou County Government Social and Labor Affairs Department, is responsible for overseeing all office affairs. The office is divided into two sections based on the nature of the work: the Public Participation Division and the Career Development Division.
Public Participation Division
This division is responsible for planning and promoting various youth development policies of the county government, encouraging youth social participation, policy participation, volunteer involvement, consulting on youth affairs, and other matters related to youth development.
Career Development Division
This division handles matters such as youth employment, entrepreneurship, loans, career development, workplace experience, and innovative empowerment.
Personnel Administrator
An administrator from the County Personnel Office is assigned to handle personnel management matters according to the law.
Accountant
An accountant from the County Budget, Accounting, and Statistics Office is assigned to manage budgeting, accounting, and statistical matters.
