Nantou County Government Rewards "Hakka Language Certification Performance" Implementation Plan

In order to improve the Hakka language proficiency of the county's residents and promote the development and inheritance of the Hakka language and culture, the Nantou County Government rewards county residents who pass the Hakka language proficiency certification test organized by the Hakka Committee and has specially formulated an implementation plan to reward "Hakka language certification performance excellence."

🎯Award recipients:

All students studying in public or private schools below the college level in Nantou County (including public and private kindergartens) who register for the Hakka language proficiency certification of various levels organized by the Hakka Affairs Council, fill in "Nantou County" in the "Correspondence Address" column and select "Nantou Examination Area" when registering, and pass the Hakka language certification examination.

Citizens other than those who meet the qualifications listed in the preceding paragraph, who register for the Hakka language proficiency certification programs at all levels organized by the Hakka Affairs Council, and who fill in "Nantou County" in the "Correspondence Address" field and select "Nantou Examination Area" when registering, and who pass the Hakka language certification test (based on the list provided by the Hakka Affairs Council), will enter a lucky draw.

🎯Award criteria:

Kindergarten students: Those who pass the kindergarten certification exam will be given a prize each.

Elementary school, junior high school, high school and college students:

Those who pass the basic level certification exam: Each student will be awarded a scholarship of NT$500.

Those who pass the primary certification exam: Each candidate will be awarded a scholarship of NT$1,000.

Those who pass the intermediate certification exam: Each candidate will be awarded a scholarship of NT$3,000.

Those who pass the intermediate and advanced certification exams will be awarded a scholarship of NT$5,000 each.

Those who pass the advanced certification exam: Each candidate will be awarded a scholarship of NT$8,000.

🎯Other eligible people:

The lucky draw will be conducted based on the list of candidates who have passed the various levels of Hakka language proficiency certification examinations organized by the Hakka Affairs Council.

Twenty candidates who pass the basic level certification will be randomly selected and each will be awarded NT$500.

Ten candidates who pass the primary certification will be randomly selected and each will be awarded NT$1,000.

Five candidates who pass the intermediate certification will be randomly selected and each will be awarded NT$3,000.

Three candidates who pass the intermediate and advanced certification will be randomly selected and each will be awarded NT$5,000.

One person who passes the advanced certification will be randomly selected and each will be awarded NT$8,000.

📑 The aforementioned reward implementation plan for "Hakka Language Certification Excellence" is applicable to all levels of Hakka language proficiency certification conducted by the Hakka Council in 2015 (including subsequent years).
