📢 Young people bravely pursue their dreams ✈️ Nantou youth set off for Japan!
To broaden young people's international horizons and strengthen their cross-sector competitiveness, the Nantou County Government is collaborating with the Ministry of Education's Youth Development Administration to promote the "Youth 10 Billion Overseas Dream Fund Project" as part of the "Creative Envoy" overseas internship program.
👉 The first cohort of 15 youth representatives from across Japan will travel to Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, Japan, from September 8th to 21st, 2015, for a two-week internship and exchange program. Prior to their departure, they participated in workshops focused on design thinking, project management, and local development strategies. They will then conduct field research, conduct interviews, and propose local action plans.
Early this morning, we made a special trip to see them off at Taoyuan International Airport. We wish these young people the courage to take on new challenges and pursue their dreams. They should seize this opportunity for international learning and bring what they've learned back to Taiwan, applying it to their hometowns and promoting local innovation and sustainable industries. 🌱
