Vanilla Knight Chocolate Workshop:
This one-day workplace experience was conducted in cooperation with teachers from Chung Hsing High School and the students were brought to Puli Town, Nantou County. The founder of Wei Zhenglin generously shared vanilla pod planting techniques and carefully explained the differences between Taiwan's native vanilla varieties and foreign varieties. In the hands-on experience, the students were also taught how to make vanilla cheese, upholding the purity and quality of the ingredients.
The founder shared at the event that he encountered many difficulties during the start-up process. He said: "Taiwan's climate and soil conditions are different from those in other countries. Through continuous testing and continuous learning, we hope to promote Taiwanese vanilla to the world.
Zhongxing New Village Local Creation and Development Village:
Local revitalization and cross-domain cooperation have become a trend, and this base was established to revitalize the idle space in Zhongxing New Village.
The event invited four young people who have lived in the Yucheng Village to share their experiences. The four speakers had different professions, including hand weaving, handicraft maker, cultural and creative artist, and illustrator. These emerging professions are relatively unknown, but through the vivid sharing of the four young participants, young people had the opportunity to understand the hard work in various industries. Inspired by young entrepreneurs, young students are given unlimited imagination about their future career directions.
