Shengxun Yan and Yingling Zhuo are the third generation of returning tea farmers.
In 2012, by chance, he took over the family business of Lugu Tea Mountain in Nantou, and founded the "Mountain Tea Learning" brand in 2019. However, driven by the design soul, he not only specializes in tea making, but also strives to develop and design tea-related products and experiences.
In 2023, two returning designers transformed the ancient wisdom of the "tea pillow" into a fashionable "tea-scented pillow" suitable for both office and home, and won the "2023 American MUSE Design Award Silver Award" and the "2023 London Design Award Silver Award", and were recognized by two international design awards.
We are also committed to the development of tea, food and farming experiences. In order to let more people see the Lugu Tea Village, we won three gold awards in the International Design Awards in 2024. We are now connected with international tea drinkers and can provide all-English experience teaching, so that the whole world can get to know the hometown of Dongding Oolong Tea through our mountain experience learning.
From a designer working in the city, he changed his career path to become an innovator in Lugu Dongdingshan Tea Garden, and created a unique brand that combines tradition and modernity.
With the spirit of "working in the mountains and learning through tea", we communicate with tourists from different countries around the world and stimulate innovative experiences in tea culture.
By leveraging the power of design, Shanzhongchaxue has won the American MUSE and London Design Awards, and this year won the Gold Award of the 2024 French Design Award🎉
