In good hands cafe is hidden at the end of Yucai Lane. Its appearance is no different from that of an ordinary residential building, except for a small sign placed on the white parapet, which quietly indicates that there is a coffee shop here that welcomes guests.
When you gently open the wooden door and enter the store, the owners Yizhou and Xiaoyu will give you the warmest greetings, just like you are visiting a friend's home. You can freely choose the space you like and comfortably enjoy In good hands cafe's delicious self-roasted coffee, homemade desserts or vegetarian dishes. You can have a good rest here and recharge before setting off again.
In good hands cafe Coffee is Xiaoyu's dream. When he was a child, Xiaoyu's father was always busy with work. In order to help his father recharge, Xiaoyu would make a cup of coffee for his father when he was resting. Every time he saw his father's happy expression after tasting the coffee, Xiaoyu was very satisfied. This made Xiaoyu determined to open a cafe when he grew up so that everyone could have a place to rest.
Therefore, no matter whether choosing a major or a part-time job, Xiaoyu chose projects related to cafes. For example, Xiaoyu wanted to plant trees and flowers to beautify the cafe, so she chose to study horticulture in high school. Later, because she considered that opening a cafe required marketing and design skills, Xiaoyu chose to study design in college. In order to learn about coffee-related knowledge and management, Xiaoyu also worked in a cafe in her spare time, moving towards her dream step by step.
Later in 2013, Xiaoyu felt that there were not many coffee shops in his hometown Caotun, so he and Yizhou founded In good hands cafe. The name "In good hands cafe" comes from the homonym of "hard bones", "This is a portrayal of my persistence in my dream all the way, which means that I must persist in doing everything and persevere no matter what difficulties and challenges I encounter." After establishing In good hands cafe, Xiaoyu and Yizhou first rented a stall in an arcade to sell coffee. After selling for more than a year and accumulating many regular customers, they decided to find a store to open. It happened that the old house currently in operation was for rent. After viewing the house, the two thought it was in line with their imagination of a coffee shop, so they decided to rent this old house to open.
Yingguzi Coffee upholds Xiaoyu's spirit of wanting to recharge everyone, providing the highest quality self-roasted coffee, homemade desserts and vegetarian dishes.
Because the two hope that guests coming to Yingguzi Coffee will feel like visiting a friend's home, they arranged each space in the cafe as an independent space, so that although guests can feel that there are people in other spaces, they can still enjoy their time alone without being disturbed.
“It makes guests feel a little independent, a little like a barrier,” said Yizhou.
The two loved seeing customers enjoying their own space when delivering food, which was their original intention to open a cafe.
After more than 10 years of operation, the two men’s passion for running a cafe has not changed. On the contrary, seeing the satisfied and relaxed smiles on every customer gives them more motivation to run an oasis for people to slow down and recharge in this fast-paced and chaotic city.
