Originated from Caotun, Nantou, Taiwan, local youth couple Yao Zongting and Liu Qianyun returned to their hometown and used friendly Taiwanese cocoa beans to create estate-grade dark chocolate exclusive to this island. We work hand in hand with small cocoa farmers in Nantou, Pingtung, and Yunlin to deepen local agriculture and showcase the unique and delicate layers of Taiwan's terroir through single estate and small batch processing. Since its establishment, it has been recognized by many international competitions and has won many awards in the World Chocolate Competition, which is known as the Oscar level in the chocolate industry.
Zong Ting and Qian Yun uphold sustainable values. They not only use quadruple-certified plant-based recycled paper packaging, but also cooperate with local letterpress printing craftsmen in Nantou to combine craftsmanship and design aesthetics. At the same time, we promote industry-university cooperation, commit ourselves to the development of the cocoa industry chain and technical guidance, and share the importance of cocoa culture and friendly farming through food and agriculture education programs, so that chocolate is not only a taste enjoyment, but also a bridge connecting heaven, earth and man to create a beautiful co-construction.
